When you use the contact form
If you send a message, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. The form is processed by our hosting provider and delivered to us by email. We use this information only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list or sell your information.
When you sign up for our email course
If you sign up for the free email course, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. They are stored with our email service provider, MailerLite, which sends you a message to confirm your address and then delivers the course emails. We use your address only to send the course and occasional sprouting tips and site updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We don't sell or rent your address.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are popular and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like pages visited, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type. We use this information in aggregate only. You can learn how Google uses this data on Google's own privacy pages, and you can opt out using Google's browser add-on or your browser's cookie settings.
Hosting and security logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosts, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Affiliate links
When you click a link to Sprouting.com, you leave our site. Sprouting.com may set cookies to track the referral and process your order under its own privacy policy.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal information.
- We don't email you unless you ask us to, by replying to a message or signing up for the email course.
- We don't use third-party advertising networks.
- Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so loading a page doesn't send your information to a font service.
How long we keep information
We keep contact messages only as long as needed to reply and for our records. We keep email course subscribers until they unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics.
Your choices and rights
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete messages you've sent us.
- Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local privacy laws.

Children
This site is for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
